Grounded strength. Hopeful wings.
Life is hard. Sometimes we feel lost, overwhelmed, or stuck and need a little help to find our way. Trauma, illness, anxiety, depression, and relationship conflict can disconnect us from ourselves and our loved ones, affecting all facets of life, most importantly our overall wellbeing. I support clients on their walk through adversity. I have experience across the lifespan and work with teens, adults, and couples to navigate anxiety, depression, mood disorders, divorce, single parenting/parenthood, neurodivergence, and terminal illness.
I came into counseling as a second career after raising my family and recognizing that more support is needed for the challenges people are facing in this rapidly changing world. As a cancer survivor, I have firsthand experience with the way life stops when you are first diagnosed, grieving the loss of your healthy body, and putting things together again.
My counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that all people are born good. You are enough, and the fact that you are here shows you are hurting, looking for more, or maybe just struggling to believe in yourself. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey back to you so that you can live life again with passion as your true authentic self.
